Keep It Simple For Success
In order to get the most out of your nutrition, it’s important that you have a goal in mind. Nutrition is a huge topic and can be very difficult to figure out where to start. In my experience, the best way forward in nutrition is to keep it simple. Think of nutrition as a living experiment.
Our needs change everyday, but the fundamentals remain the same.Nutrition is a broad topic and can be confusing especially for beginners. At a fundamental level, it is broken down into the following areas. Macronutrients, micronutrients, and hydration. Nutrition provides the energy we need for our bodies to perform daily tasks, to grow and repair cells, and to maintain normal body functions.
Macronutrients are nutrients that are required in large amounts. They include carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Carbohydrates provide energy for the body to function. Protein provides amino acids that are needed for muscles, and fats keep your body warm, improve the function of your brain and nervous system, and help in the regulation of hormones.
Micronutrients are what are called essential nutrients. Essential nutrients are what the body requires for proper function, but cannot synthesize by itself. These functions include cellular growth and development, metabolizing of food, sexual reproduction, and bone health. They include vitamins, minerals, and trace elements.
Hydration (Water) is the most important nutrient in our bodies, because it regulates our body temperature, transports nutrients, and helps remove waste products. Water makes up about two-thirds of a person’s body weight. As an essential nutrient for life, water provides a solvent to help transport nutrients and oxygen into cells and carry away wastes for elimination from the body.

Plan & Take Action
We will build a plan with achievable tasks to support you in reaching your goals. Tasks will be in the areas of mindset, nutrition, sleep, posture, and exercise.
Results will come from consistent effort & action. It is a choice to change/improve your overall health, develop new mindsets, habits, and nutritional choices.
